Responsibility & Disclaimer of Liability
Meteora Rocks Travel makes every reasonable effort to ensure the smooth operation of all activities and the quality of the services it provides. However:
The company reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel any itinerary or program without liability or obligation for compensation, whenever such action is deemed necessary for safety, force majeure, or the overall well-being of participants.
Meteora Rocks Travel bears no responsibility for delays, cancellations, or poor performance of services provided by third-party suppliers (e.g. hotels, transportation, guides), as the company does not own or control those entities.
Participants are solely responsible for their own personal belongings and luggage throughout the tour. The company accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or theft.
Meteora Rocks Travel also reserves the right to decline participation to any individual if their presence is deemed to compromise the safety or enjoyment of other participants.
The Booking Contract
A booking is considered confirmed and binding when the client receives a confirmation email from the Kleesto booking platform, following successful payment of the required amount.
The client is responsible for carefully checking the confirmation and immediately reporting any errors (e.g. name misspellings, date, number of participants). Meteora Rocks Travel and Kleesto are not liable for incorrect information submitted by the user.
To make a booking, you must be at least 18 years of age and you warrant that all the information provided is complete and accurate.
Booking on Behalf of Others
If you are booking on behalf of other participants, you are automatically considered the designated contact person for the entire group. This means:
You are responsible for making all payments related to the booking.
You are obliged to inform the other participants about any changes or cancellations.
You confirm that you have obtained all necessary consents from each participant included in the booking.
Meteora Rocks Travel shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies or omissions in information submitted on behalf of others.
Personal Insurance
Meteora Rocks Travel does not provide personal or travel insurance and accepts no liability for any loss, injury, illness, delay, theft, or cancellation that may occur during the course of your participation in any tour or activity.
Each participant is fully responsible for arranging their own insurance coverage (e.g. travel, medical, accident, trip cancellation), depending on the nature of the booked activity.
Participation in any activity is done entirely at the participant’s own risk. We strongly recommend the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance prior to your journey.
Appeals and Complaints
If you experience dissatisfaction or wish to file a claim for compensation during any activity:
You must notify the activity leader or a Meteora Rocks Travel representative in writing immediately.
The activity leader will make every effort, within the limits of the program, to resolve the issue on the spot.
If the issue is not resolved, you may submit a formal written appeal within four (4) weeks after the end of the activity, including supporting evidence (e.g. photos, confirmation from the activity leader).
Delayed or insufficiently documented complaints will not be considered valid.
Liability
Meteora Rocks Travel and its partners shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay, unless proven to be caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The company is entitled to subcontract services and delegate the execution of activities to third-party providers. In such cases:
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties (e.g. hotels, drivers, transportation services).
We are not liable for force majeure events or unforeseeable circumstances, such as weather conditions, delays, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
In the event of program cancellation or changes due to safety or external factors, we may offer an alternative activity or a credit for future use, without any obligation to refund.
Severance
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction:
That provision shall be deemed severed and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
All other terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Some of Meteora Rocks Travel’s tours involve public train transportation to or from Kalabaka. The company is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or schedule changes caused by the railway company.
Specifically:
Delays: Unexpected delays may occur due to maintenance issues, weather conditions, or operational challenges.
Responsibility: Meteora Rocks Travel acts as a tour operator, not a transport provider. Any train-related issues are the sole responsibility of the train company.
Flexibility: When possible, the itinerary will be adjusted to minimize the impact of train delays.
Alternative Arrangements: In the event of cancellations or major delays, alternative transport may be offered. Additional costs may be borne by the customer.
Support: Meteora Rocks Travel will make every effort to assist and update clients in case of transport-related disruptions.

Not Liable for Third-Party Suppliers
Meteora Rocks Travel cooperates with external service providers such as hotels, transportation companies, drivers, guides, local operators, booking platforms (e.g. Kleesto), and others (“Third-Party Suppliers”).
The company is not liable for any acts, omissions, or conduct of these third parties.
Their services are governed by their own terms and conditions, and are subject to applicable international conventions and local laws.
Any claim or compensation arising from a third-party’s negligence or fault does not involve Meteora Rocks Travel.
While the company strives to work with reliable partners, it cannot control or guarantee their actions.
Outdoor Activities & Participation Conditions
Outdoor experiences organized by Meteora Rocks Travel (such as hiking, climbing, nature tours, etc.) may involve inherent physical risks and require participants to be medically and mentally fit.
By participating, you confirm that:
You do not suffer from any condition (e.g. allergies, heart/lung problems, pregnancy, disabilities) that may affect your ability to join the activity.
You are not under the influence of alcohol, medication, or drugs.
You fully accept responsibility for your participation and agree to follow all instructions given by the activity leader.
The activity leader reserves the right to exclude any participant whose condition poses a risk to themselves or others. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in immediate removal from the activity with no refund.
Pricing, Booking & Payment
All prices listed on meteorarocks.com are in euros (€) and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Prices are per person, unless marked “per group” or indicated otherwise.
Meteora Rocks Travel reserves the right to change prices at any time, but confirmed and paid bookings will not be affected.
Booking Confirmation:
A booking is considered complete only when you receive a confirmation email from the Kleesto booking system.
This confirmation must be presented (printed or digital) on the day of the activity.
Payment:
All payments are made online through Kleesto and are required in full to secure your booking.
If payment is not completed, the booking is not valid and may be cancelled without notice.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellations and refunds are processed through the Kleesto booking platform, which handles the booking and payment system.
Cancellation Terms:
Free cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the activity.
If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, no refund will be issued.
Cancellations must be submitted via the cancellation link in the Kleesto confirmation email.
Refunds:
If cancellation conditions are met, the refund will be processed through Kleesto using the same payment method.
The refund process may take 3–5 business days, depending on the customer’s bank and payment provider.
Meteora Rocks Travel holds no responsibility for the timing or completion of the refund, as the process is fully handled by Kleesto and its payment partners.
Punctuality
Participants are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the activity.
Late arrivals or failure to appear at the meeting point will be considered a “no-show”.
In such cases, the tour will be cancelled without any refund.
Meteora Rocks Travel is not responsible for delays caused by the participant (e.g. transportation issues, wrong location, etc.).
Insurance Policy
Meteora Rocks Travel maintains liability insurance for bodily injury or material damage to third parties that may occur during organized activities, as required by Greek law.
However:
This coverage does not substitute your personal travel insurance.
The company is not liable for theft, loss, or damage of luggage or personal belongings.
It also does not cover illness, disappointment, or emotional distress during your trip.
Participation in any activity is undertaken at your own risk.
We strongly recommend that travelers purchase private travel insurance for broader coverage (e.g. cancellations, health issues, valuables, etc.).
Multi-day Package Tours – Inclusions
Meteora Rocks Travel’s multi-day packages include, unless otherwise stated:
Accommodation at selected 3* or 4* hotels, in twin rooms with private bathroom and breakfast.
Transfers from/to stations, hotels, or airports, using private or shared air-conditioned vehicles suitable for luggage.
Guided tours and entrance fees to museums and landmarks as specified in the itinerary.
Experienced guides/escorts and coverage of their expenses.
All legal taxes (e.g. VAT 24%).
In some cases, single rooms can be booked for an additional fee and subject to availability. Triple or quad rooms are available upon request and limited availability.
Taxes, Accommodation, Transfers & Sightseeing
Taxes:
All package prices include VAT 24% and all legal taxes, unless otherwise specified.
Accommodation:
Accommodation is provided in 3 or 4 hotels**, in twin rooms with private bathroom and breakfast included.
Single rooms are available upon request, at extra charge and subject to availability.
Triple rooms usually include one double bed and a rollaway bed, which may reduce available space.
Transfers:
Transportation is arranged using private or group vehicles, depending on group size:
Sedan for up to 5 people
Minivan for 6–8 people
Minibus for 9–19 people
Toll fees, fuel costs, and driver expenses are included.
Drivers are English-speaking unless otherwise stated.
Sightseeing:
Entry to museums and archaeological sites mentioned in the itinerary is included.
Tours are conducted by licensed local guides or escorts.
Package Exclusions
Unless explicitly mentioned in the itinerary, the following are not included in the package price:
Airfare (domestic or international)
Airport taxes and additional airline fees
Passport and visa fees (where applicable)
Checked or excess baggage charges
Optional tours, excursions, or personal activities
Personal expenses (e.g. laundry, phone calls, drinks, meals not listed)
Gratuities
Costs related to returning home due to early trip termination
Any other service not specifically listed in the itinerary
Pricing & Discounts
Package prices are calculated per person, unless otherwise stated, and are subject to availability.
Pricing Policy:
Prices include all applicable taxes and are valid for credit card or cash payments.
Children aged 0–4 participate free of charge.
Children aged 5–17 typically pay a reduced rate (usually 50%), unless stated otherwise.
Individuals 18 years and older are charged the full adult rate.
Discounts:
Special discounts may apply to early bookings or group reservations.
Meteora Rocks Travel reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations and apply relevant cancellation fees, according to the payment deadline.
Change of Use & Legal Rights
Meteora Rocks Travel reserves the right to:
Change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the website or any part of it without notice. Your continued use of the website confirms your acceptance of any such changes.
Modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the site following changes is deemed to indicate your acceptance of the updated terms.

Vouchers & Identity Verification
You will receive a personalized Meteora Rocks Travel Voucher for each tour, activity, or service booked. You must present the original, authentic voucher to the service provider in order to redeem your reservation. Reservations cannot be honored without a valid voucher.
For security purposes, you may be required to present:
The voucher itself.
The credit card used to make the purchase (in selected cases).
Identification matching the name on your voucher and payment method.
If the name or signature does not match the details shown on your credit card or voucher, we reserve the right to confiscate and cancel the voucher without refund.
Applicable Law
All matters arising from this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic, regardless of the client’s country of residence or the booking platform used. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kalambaka, unless otherwise mandated by mandatory law.
Acceptance Clause
By placing any booking through our website or via the affiliated platform (Kleesto), you unconditionally accept these Terms and Conditions, including all cancellation, payment, liability, and participation policies outlined above. The use of our services implies your full and express consent to these terms.
