The excursion starts from the new Thessaloniki Railway Station where the train departs at 08.18 in the morning. You should be there at least half an hour earlier to complete the boarding process. The route passes by the roots of the mythical Mount Olympus, home of the Twelve Gods of Ancient Greece and takes you to the station of Paleopharsalos, an area from which the Myrmidons originate, the formidable ancient warriors who, under the leadership of Achilles, played an important role role in the outcome of the Trojan War. At Paleofarsalos station you will disembark and change trains, then board the train heading to Kalambaka. You will arrive there at 11.30 in the afternoon where our partner will be waiting for you at the station who will take you to your hotel. At 16.15 our partners will pick you up from your hotel so you can start with Breathtaking Meteora sunset, an amazing sightseeing experience. After your tour is over and around 20.30 in the afternoon we will drive you to your hotel. For the next day, refer to our page and choose one of 4-hour excursion to the Monasteries and Hiking in Meteora. On day 3 you will be free to spend time exploring the town of Kalambaka until 16.45 where we will meet to drive you to Kalambaka Railway Station to catch your return train.
